I am currently accessing my work computer through a VPN at home. Everything works fine and dandy and I have no problems connecting to VNC or RDP. This network is on a 192.168.100 subnet. I now have to connect to my 192.168.1 subnet and even though I can connect with my new policy and spd file, I cannot connect to RDP or VNC. I think VNC uses port 5900 and your VPN may be blocking it. Can you VNC into a machine at your local office? A really bad work-around would be to then VNC from that machine into the remote office. That may narrow it down to a VNC problem between (your house --> your local office) or (your house --> remote office). I use a VPN to connect to my work network to work remotely and control the computers and servers etc. I am connecting at home from an O2 Broadband router (Thompson) which I have access to the admin panel. I can sucessfully connect to the VPN and get an IP address on the work network. However, I cannot RDP or VNC any of the computers. I have been having issues using UVNC on my local machine (WinXP 32bit). It was v1.1.9.0 and I have changed to v1.1.9.3 but no changes. Occasionally when I connect to a machine (typically Win7x64 but it also has the same latest VNC version) I get the connection dropped, trying to reconnect happening nonstop until I exit the viewer.
