I have had my own Paypal for years, under my own checking account. He is trying to set up his OWN Paypal account, using this joint account. He claims paypal told him they need to "establish his identity" and asking for a COPY of his actual SS card!!! I don't recall giving anything like that to Paypal when I opened mine.
