Even in bone stock DD WRT configuration the WLAN port doesn't allow for control of the Linksys, only the four LAN ports do that. Of course I know just enough about networking to be a true danger to any network I might try to do anything with.

I set up my wireless repeater, then select wireless mode repeater bridge, the wan ip goes to disabled. If I now set wireless mode back to repeater, the wan IP goes to 0.0.0.0 and never gets an IP. If I try to reboot the router now, it does not boot correctly any more.
